Description of a new species of Stenotabanus from Venezuela (Diptera: Tabanidae)

چکیده

Stenotabanus (Stenotabanus) clavijoi n.sp. is described based on two females collected in the states of Aragua and Tachira, Venezuela. This 59th species subgenus third from Diagnostic characters are: large relation to other subgenus; dorsum body dark brown black belly with pruinescence clear setae; frons inflated callus, square, black, shiny an upper extension; hyaline wings; yellowish legs; abdomen posterior margin white hair aspect narrow bands; cerci dorsally visible.
